i'm rafif, although i generally go by the name of raf. you pronounce my name as "ra-feef".

i was born in nineteen-eighty-five in northern iraq. i've since lived in scotland, england and australia, but now find myself living in berlin, germany.

i completed a bachelor of software engineering (with honours) at monash university.

i dig football, design, food, music and almost all things tech.

i work at 6wunderkinder. and i love it.

switched to the macintosh/iphone platform and love working in obj-c and cocoa.

i first touched html back at age 10 (view-source was my friend) and eventually self-taught myself the rest. worked on web development at various jobs while studying.

i essentially started to learn programming in c, going through compiler logic and asm. have some opengl knowledge too.

the microsoft .net platform also has received some of my love with a few asp.net websites and databases produced.
perl / cgi 1
not a perl guru by any stretch of the imagination, but have written a public transport journey planner (university project) in perl - it worked too!

i have a bit of multi-threading and process knowledge on the unix side and know my way around all three platforms very well.

worked in all ide's when a text editor didn't suffice.
